Motherboard maker MSI has published screenshots with one of its own Sandy Bridge platforms where it has paired the coming P67A-GD65 motherboard with an Intel Sandy Bridge CPU and no less than 32GB RAM. This confirms that Intel’s new mid-range platform can handle 8GB modules, which is good news for demanding users.

The screenshots reveal that MSI used an Intel Core i7-2600K CPU and that the motherboard is built on the Intel P67 chipset. If the support for 8GB modules apply to all chipsets of the Sandy Bridge famiy was not revealed, but since the memory controller sits in the CPU it would be odd otherwise.
