MSI have several enthusiast-geared product serieses and Hawk is one of them. Now the company has given NVIDIA’s popular GeForce GTX 560 Ti GPU the Hawk treatment and launched an overclocked card with rigorous power supply, overclocking functions and Twin Frozr cooler.
MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk use a single GF114 GPU with 384 CUDA cores mades with TSMC’s 40nm technology. The reference from NVIDIA is clocked at 822 MHz, which MSI has improved to 950 MHz with the Hawk. The shader frequency is up to 1900 MHz, while the GDDR5 memory is turned up to 4200 MHz.
The card will be capable of GPU frequencies up to 1 GHz, through a more powerful power supply (8+1 phases) capable of delivering 200 ampere. MSI Afterburner can do swift voltage changes while the Twin Frozr III cooler keeps temperatures down. The cooler uses dual 80mm fans and 17 degrees better than the reference.
The card comes with dual DVI outputs and one HDMI output at 230€.
