On top of all that MSI has chosen to use the Twin Frozr II cooling, as the name revealed, that is used with a lot of other similar cards and from experience we know that it is both quiet and very efficient with its four heatpipes and dual 80mm fans.
Remaining features include support from MSI’s own Afterburner overclocking software and voltage tweaking, which should be enough to push the graphics circuit over the 925MHz we managed with the reference sample.
MSI has great faith in its HD 5830 offspring and says right out loud that the card is the best around. Whether this is correct or not remains to be seen, but we can at least conclude that they have made a serious effort.
