MSI has through its VP Hsiang Hsu announced that it is considering a cooperation with other Taiwanese motherboard manufacturers. The idea is to utilize each others’ resources to improve the earnings and it’s hard not to see parallels with ASUS’ and Gigabyte’s joint venture where the two started a new company. This company went live January 1, 2007 and we’re not surprised MSI is looking for partners of its own to stand up to the competition.
“MSI may be looking to form alliances in the future, even with motherboard makers that are not running the same business plan as the company, Hsu said.”
