Mushkin GeForce 8800 GT HP Overclocked Edition will be the first graphics card from memory manufacturer Mushkin. It’s based on the G92 core and is basically an overclocked version of GeForce 8800GT with a new cooler. Instead of the reference 600MHz GPU clock, Mushkin has tuned the frequency to 675MHz, which also bumps the shader clock up to 1690MHz. The 512MB GDDR3 memory has been overclocked to 1900MHz, instead of the reference 1800MHz, but the cooler is the perhaps most interesting part.
The cooler is fairly big and looks a bit odd to be honest. Whether it’s efficient or not remains to be seen, but at least it can’t be much worse than the reference one. matbe.com has published pictures of the card, and says that the card is due this month and will cost €260.
