Nec and Toshiba goes 45nm

NEC and Toshiba has announced that it has started a cooperation to bring forth an affective manufacturing process at tiny 45nm. The manufacturing process will be used for making large-scale integreted circuits (LSI) for consumer electronics sold by the two companies. The cooperation is expected to give both Toshiba and NEC and at the same time better manufacturing possibilities for new manufacturing technologies as the cooperation will cut the costs for both companies. A system many companies use to develop products.
