Netscape 8.0 was launched at the end of last weekend and it didn’t take more than 12 hours before they found 3 critical bugs and Netscape has already published an update to its new browser, the update is called 8.0.1 and fixes among others the JavaScript bug found in Firefox 1.0.3 earlier. It’s of course positive that they fixed it so fast but at the same time kind of embarassing since these are known bugs from other browsers. You can download the new update at Netscape’s homepage.
