NVIDIA has already revealed that it is working on new graphics circuits based on the G80 architecture, but we know basically nothing about these or when they will arrive. New information suggests that NVIDIA is already testing some of the new circuits as NGOHQ has managed to find new units in NVIDIA’s leaked 96.64 ForceWare drivers. NVIDIA has listed, except from GeForce 8800 GTX/GTS, five new G80 circuits. They are called G80-200, G80-400, G80-600, G80-850 and G80-875. There is no further information which can be related to the GeForce 8800 series, but NVIDIA seems to be close to launching the next series of cards based on G80.
