NVIDIA released the new GTX 560 a while back, mainly to compete with HD 6870 from AMD. NVIDIA has released a new version of GTX 560 called GTX 560 Ti (OEM), just like the name implies this one is for OEMs and system builders.

The new GTX 560 Ti reminds of the old GTX 465, which was a severely cut down GF100 GPU. GTX 560 Ti (OEM) is based on the newer revision of GF100, namely GF110 and comes with just as many CUDA cores as GTX 465, 352 cores, which means 5 of 16 cluster have been deactivated. THe difference is that GTX 560 Ti (OEM) comes with 320-bit memory bus instead of 256-bit like GTX 465 and with higher clocks.

The new cards looks to be slower than the retail GTX 560 Ti considering the lower clocks and number of CUDA cores, but the card will only be available through OEMs, but it will be confusing when comparing a sustem built by a person and one built by a company since the “(OEM)” suffix won’t show in the marketing.
