Xbox 360 has had to put up with rumors about price cuts since day 1, but Microsoft has constantly claimed that there will be no such thing. Stores in the UK recently lowered the price of the Core model with £10 though, buth that’s it. Instead Microsoft has chosen to go with so called package deals where they try to offer more for the same amount of money, instead of lowering the price. Previously it has offered Project Gotham 3 and FIFA 06, to name a few, to bring up the value, but now it seems that there are two new packages coming and this time the Core version is involved.
It will namely get a partner in the form of PGR3 and Kameo. Premium will be paired with Amped 3 and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Any prices are not available at the time but we can nothing but assume Microsoft will put them at a low level to try and disrupt the launch of both Wii and Playstation 3 as much as possible while at the same time try to boost the sales as the figures haven’t been all that convincing up till today.
