Apple has tons of third-party applications available for download through its iTunes store for those who wants more functions in their iPhone mobile phones. These so called Web apps can be found in most shapes, sizes, colors and nuances, and almost anyone can develop e new one. You do need some knowledge and programming experience to make something useful, but while some are having trouble just learning the names of all the programming languages there are, some can handle the fluently. Some not older than nine years old.

Lim Ding Wen is something as unique as a nine year old programmer whose latest Web app Doodle Kids has been downloaded from iTunes more than 4,000 times over the last two weeks.

Doodle Kids, a paint program for the younger crowd (like Lim himself…), has captured the iPhone users. The young programmer started using computers at the age of 2 and now, seven years later, he has completed around 20 programming projects and is fluent in six different programming languages.

The next creation looks to become a science fiction game called Invader Wars which may very well climb the download charts too. If nothing else, Lim might get the opportunity to slap daddy on the fingers, who also develops Web apps for iPhone on his spare time.
