Epic is a wellknown game developer and if they don’t have any new games coming they don’t hesitate to create headlines by speaking freely about various game related products. They usually don’t hold back and Mark Reign at Epic made no exception during a Live-event for IGN when they spoke of Nintendo Revolution and especially the new controller. Mark Reign could guarantee that Nintendo Revolution kommer would get loads of new games developed for use with the new controller. Which could mean that they loose focus of just being good games.
“Don’t kid yourself – you’re going to see more gimmicky, crappy, cheap, I-wish-I-hadn’t-bought-it gimmick games based around that controller than you can ever possibly imagine.”
Mark Reign didn’t have much positive to say about Nintendo’s next generation gaming console and in fact he didn’t even count Revolution as a next generation console. To him there were only two, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Exactly what is behind this statement but it surely doesn’t make things easier for Nintendo who just announced an earlier launch than enticipated; after April, 2006.
