Reports have appeared about how people have been playing their new Nintendo Wii so many hours that they developed a massive hand sweat. When they then try to play and make excessive moves the controller has tendencies to take trips through the air, as the strap doesn’t hold, and at worst case scenario hit something expensive. Nintendo has now answered to these reports and responds with that it was caught by surprise from the excitement these people are displaying and that they did test the controller, but apparently not to this extreme degree. There are plenty of examples of wrong ways of doing it and Nintendo has now started to instruct people how to use the controller. Whether Nintendo will exchange the controller remains to be seen, but it wouldn’t be the first time it chooses to take a hit to keep up a good image.
