No AGP support with the G8X architectures

Contrary to previous rumors that have been surrounding the GeForce 8 series there is new information that suggests that NVIDIA’s new graphics card series will be PCI Express only. The previous rumors said that GeForce 8600 would be launched with the AGP interface but according to VR-Zone there will be no AGP support with the G8x architecture. There’s note telling what will happen and when NVIDIA launches its new GeForce 8 cards in April we will know for sure. Perhaps AGP is finally about to be phased out, since PCI Express has been the standard with motherboards for some time now.
