NordicHardware Folding@Home was officially announced on October 1st. A few members had already started folding by then, but the points were still few, but since then the team has collected by more than 7.1 million points and completed more than 17,000 work units. When we noticed how fast people took a liking to the project we decided to set some goals before the end of the year. We had to revise these goals twice because more and more people joined. The last goal we set was to break into the top 350 teams before the end of the year. And so we have.
With 7,123,239 points the team is now located at 345. Sometime next month the team is going to break into the top 300, but after that the competition toughens. However we have some surprises planned to justify the slightly higher electricity bill and perhaps encourage even more of you to join.
