Small preview image

Last Wednesday NordicHardware Folding@Home climbed up among the top 500 teams and has since then continued the climb toward the top. At the time of writing the team resides at rank 477 with 4,388,182 points. It looks like the team will break 4.5 million points just before the end of the month, which means that the production during November has tripled compared to last month. Consider the team went public as late as October 1st the points have been coming in at an unexpected rate.

The number of users is now up to 109 and yours truly will just have to sit back watch others fly by as the lack of a folding-capable graphics card capable is limiting my production rate severely. In the forum we have posted some useful information about how productive different graphics cards and processors are for folding. There you can also find useful information if you want to start folding and contribute to Stanford University’s Folding@Home project.
