Corsair has announced that it has as the first memory manufacturer had memory modules certified by nVidia for its SLI platform. This is just one of many SLI certifies that nVidia uses and even if it doesn’t hurt to be certified you might wonder if there really is anything to really bother with, especially SLI certifying RAM. Anyway Corsair XMS2-5400C4 is the first series of memories to get nVidia’s SLI-certifications and this has been achieved by passing, according to Corsair, tough stability and performance tests. Whether this will affect the price of the memories remains to see, but we have to admit this is all feeling quite silly. We haven’t heard of any memories that has had problems with especially SLI systems, but if you do have heard of this please do tell us. Source: Corsair
