At last, nVidia has released their new driver. It has been quite a while between the releases lately, even if the leaked drivers has been floating around the net as usual.
nVidia gives full coverage with drivers for all different Windows versions since Windows 95 (something which e.g. ATi don’t support, if someone even cares?)and it has an impressive readme uncluding all changes. The reason for their adding of a detailed readme comes almost directly from the enthusiasts community and it is pleasing to see that what nVidia said here really was something else then nonsense.
Something which sadly was nonsense was the talking about that they were going to delete the “doubtfull” optimizations. E.g. they still force the trilinear filtering in UT2003 to fail to come, which lower the picture quality.

On the other hand Detonator 45.32 is already released, so this is not the latest driver for nVidias cards which can be obtained. Although, we haven’t got a link to 45.32 yet.
