NVIDIA earleir released a new BIOS for its reference motherboard for the nForce 680i SLI chipset. The new BIOS has now been released by eVGA and is available for download at eVGA’s website. The problems that have been with the 680i motherboards have appeared as corrupt data when using the motherboard’s SATA interface and this is something the new P23 BETA BIOS is suppose to remedy. According to the first reports it seems the new beta BIOS solves the problems for some, but not for everyone. Those who are currently using an eVGA 680i motherboard and has these problems should take a closer look at this update though. More information can be found at OC Workbench’s forum and the new BIOS can be found at eVGA’s website.
