NVIDIA is undoubtedly more active in updating their drivers now than they have been in a long while. ATI launching new graphics cores might have something to do with it, but as consumers we should not be complaining. ForceWare 81.87 is the latest “official” beta-drivers now published on NVIDIA’s own nZone-site. The new drivers contain as expected eqvivalent functions as the 81.85 but an update seems to be some tweaks for Call of Duty 2, a game which the 7800GTX had a bit of problem competing against ATI’s future X1800XT-core. If the new drivers make a full turn, is hard to determine, but it might be worth trying for those who plays Call of Duty.
