Things are not really as expected over at NVIDIA. The tide has turned and the people have taken the Radeon HD 4800 series to their hearts. Somehow just having the fastest card around didn’t pan out. NVIDIA is firm in its belief though and from we’ve heard it has another card that will dethrone Radeon HD 4870X2 when it arrives (we do expect 4870X2 to take GeForce GTX 280 and so does NVIDIA apparently). It has not been confirmed, but it may very well be something 55nm, most likely G200b. Since Radeon HD 4870X2 is slated for late August, we should see NVIDIA’s new monster around when the moon starts another lap and August turn into September.
