NVIDIA has managed to add to the rumor spreading of a coming flagship. During the day the rumored GeForce GTX 580 appeared at the company website, in a product listing for the system requirements of 3D Vision.
GeForce GTX 580 was at the top of the list of compatible graphics cards, before GeForce GTX 480 – the card it is intended to replace – and was up long enough at NVIDIA’s website for pictures and screenshots to start spreading.
NVIDIA has removed the card, but the questions are still there. What is GeForce GTX 580? Was this on purpose? When can we expect the presumed flagship?
