Rumors have been circulating that NVIDIA is recalling its GeForce 8800 GTX graphics cards just a few days before the final launch. We decided to go to the source and got some official information about the cause of the recall and how it will affect NVIDIA’s new graphics card. The information we share comes directly from NVIDIA and goes as follows. Some of NVIDIA’s GeForce 8800 GTX cards have been shipped with the wrong resistor value and it has now decided to try and find as many of these as possible and fix the problem. NVIDIA believes that this won’t affect the supply of cards available on the launch day. The GeForce 8800 GTS is not affect by this manufacturing error.
