nVIDIA releases new drivers for the nForce-mainboards

0

There have been some arguing about nVIDIAs drivers for the nForce/nForce2-chipsets. Performance problems with their IDE-drivers and even drivers taken back. Their latest driver releases lacks the spooky IDE-drivers though, which has resulted in better stability. The new release of drivers are version 2.45 (WHQL certified) and they includes many improvements and optimizations compared to earlier versions. Among these things are improved 3D-audio performance in many games and fixed compatability problems with EAX. To all you users with WinXP, you must have Service Pack 1 installed before you install these new drivers, or the USB 2.0 support will disappear.

We have no reports on how the new drivers works yet, but on the papers this update seems like a useful one.

The drivers can be downloaded on nVIDIAs homepage.
