NVIDIA ha come a long way with its SLI technology and it actually has support for the relatively poor gaming operating system Linux. Despite that Linux isn’t the best platform for gamers there are still many Linux users who don’t mind playing games frequently, to be able to use an SLI system then is hardly a negative thing. At Phoronix they’ve tested how an SLI system behaves in Linux with NVIDIA’s latest Linux graphic card drivers, 1.0-8174. It is far from as well developed as SLI for Windows but the technology is without a doubt working in Linux which should make a lot of users happy.
