NVIDIA is now reported to speed up the production of its coming 80nm circuits to be able to compete better with ATI. ATI already has circuits at 80nm out on the market, but now it seems that also NVIDIA is close to a launch of both G73-B1 and an updated version of G72. These two circuits are for the mid-range market segment, which is where most new manufacturing processes debut. Exactly when the new circuits will arrive it doesn’t say, but they shouldn’t be very far off considering the arsenal of 80nm circuits which are coming from ATI this month.
