When AMD acquired ATI people started to speculate whether Intel would try a similar deal with ATI’s biggest competitor; NVIDIA. Well , that didn’t happen, but you can’t deny that the relation between the two have improved after the merger of their two biggest competitors. DigiTimes has come across information that points to that NVIDIA will share some of its GPU technology with Intel in exchange for a tighter cooperation with the chip giant. Exactly which GPU technology we’re talking about is uncertain, also what this cooperation would include. We’re not surprised that Intel is eager to get a hold of new GPU technology as it has been showing more and more interest in this market lately.
