Water cooling is a very efficient way to cool your hot processor and video card, where the latter has become a lot hotter the last couple of years and we even reported that Sapphire has launched video card with water cooling from factory recently, something that has been done before but really show where we’re heading. At 3DXtreme they’ve taken a closer look at three GPU water blocks to see which one of these could be the optimal choice for for those who need more than just air cooling. By testing the water blocks with an overclocked Radeon X1800 XT they’ve been able to push them all to the limit, the difference compared to a powerful air cooler is like comparing night and day. The differences between the three GPU blocks are smaller on the other hand.
