AMD will launch the Fusion program next year. With its first fully integrated processor with both CPU and GPU on the same silicon. New stories speak of a quad-core model with only 55 watt energy consumption.

Earlier stories have mainly spoken of dual-core models with an integrated GPU, but now Fudzilla reports on a Llano model of Fusion with four processor cores and 55 watt TDP. Something AMD, to some extent, revealed in its roadmaps a long time ago.

The dual-core models of Fusion is expected to consume between 20 and 40 watts, but there is no information on the clock frequencies or possible differences between the chips.

The quad-core Fusion processor will, as expected, be made with 32 nanometer technology and support DDR3 memory, but the launch date was not mentioned.
