Arctic Cooling Accelero and then Accelero Twin Turbo have been very well received among enthusiasts thanks to its broad compatibility and performance. Even though it can be hard to cool the literally hottest cards on the market, for example GTX 580 or HD 6970, it is still a popular cooler. Arctic Cooling has now announced the successor, Accelero twin Turbo II.

Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo II sports 35 aluminum fins and five 6mm copper heatpipes. Mounted on the cooler we find two 92mm PWN fans spinning at 1000 to 2000 RPM. The dimensions of the cooler are 217 x 122 x 53 mm, weighing 0.9 kg and the first to be bundled with the new thermal glue.

The precursor became very popular for its broad compatibility with so many graphics cards and Accelero Twin Turbo II does not disappoint there. The list doesn’t covers all graphics cards, probably because ARCTIC has put a cooling capacity limit of 160W, which means the high-end cards are lesft out.

Also NVIDIA’s 200 series is nowhere to befound, this is because ARCTIC chose not to include an extra heatsink for the extra chip found on GTX 260, GTX 275, GTX 280 and GTX 285. Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo II costs 44.54 euro.
