ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 looks to be the first consumer mainboard that uses ULi’s renowned M1695-chipset. ULi’s chipset has been designed for two purposes, full support for AGP8X and PCIe x16 and good overclocking potential. ASRock is one of the first to lay their hands on the new cheap chipset and the results seems very promising. They’ve tested ASRock’s creation at Anandtech and it seems the earlier reference boards was a good indication for how the final mainboards would behave. Or what do you say about very good support for both of today’s graphic interfaces and an overclocked processor bus at 400Mhz with a low end mainboard?
