ASUS ARES is the heaviest graphics card, literally, at CeBIT 2010. The graphics card that we presented detailed specifications for last week will get a specially designed cooler and it is no secret were the high frequencies comes from. During the event we got a chance to look closer at the card that according to our estimates weighs somewhere between 3-4 kilograms.
After peeking at ASUS ARES we went over to Sapphire and looked at its custom Radeon HD 5970 that much like ARES will ship with dual Cypress GPUs and 2GB GDDR5 RAM per GPU, but it was much lighter. It still looked very promising and we hope to present some more details later on. until then we have some pictures and a video of the beefiest graphics card at CeBIT 2010, ASUS ARES.
