We recently shared some information on new graphics cards from component maker ASUS. The menu held an overclocked ASUS Radeon HD 5870 Top and a special version of Radeon HD 5850. Pictures and information on another non-reference Radeon HD 5870 card from ASUS has surfaced. The card will launch part of the Matrix series and will sport a new cooler, powerful power supply and 2GB GDDR5 memory.

By throwing on dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors (stock is 2 x 6-pin) ASUS makes sure that the card has enough juice when the overclocking begins, it’s actually overclocked from factory already, 900MHz GPU and 4900MHz memory. No major differences from the reference 850/4800MHz but with measuring points for voltages and a more powerful power supply there is potential to go around.

Price and availability wasn’t mentioned, but we would presume that the card will appear at Cebit in March.
