Small preview imageASUS has today a new cooling system for its graphic cards, SilentCool-system, is as you might’ve guessed a quiet solution. It’s a completely passive system that with the help of several heatsink-modules that will transfer the heat away from the core. The main heatsink is connected to two other heatsinks with heatpipes and you can chose what modules to use, which should make the cooling much more efficient for your specific card. There are so far no information no how much heat ASUS SilentCool can handle but with its module system there should be enough to cover the most.

At the moment it’s only ASUS Extreme N6600GT Silencer that uses the new cooling but apparently more ASUS cards will use this technology in the future.
