The flashmemory manufacturer Pretec has launched a new MMC 4.0 flashmemory and except for a capacity at 4GB Pretec 4GB MMC Plus offers a 266X unsurpassed transferspeed. The memorycard will be able to reach speeds up to 40MB/s (266X), which according to Pretec is the fastest small form factor flashmemory card on the market. Except for all that you can configure Pretec 4GB MMC Plus cards with a technology called ”Sector Addressing” which makes it possible to create an enormous storage capacity at 2TB (2048GB).
