We reported a while back about how Hynix’ new DDR3 circuits had been certified by Intel and now we’ve received information about DDR3 modules from another big memory manufacturer, namely Corsair. According to ChileHardware, Corsair has started mass producing its first DDR3 modules that will work at 1066MHz with 6-6-6-24 memory latencies. The memory circuits are said to be from Elpidia and Corsair’s DDR3 modules will be shipped in a few weeks. They’ve also been able to come across a picture of modules from Corsair’s factory. At the same time we’ve been hearing reports that more and more DDR3 motherboards are appearing and getting ready to be launched, something we will follow closely.
