FireWire Deport has released two new external harddrive series
with both 2.5″ and 3.5″ harddrives. The flagship is called G-SATA and is an
external harddrive which uses S-ATA harddrives in different variations. You can
get the unit with up to two harddrives which makes it possible to reach a
storage capacity of up to 800GB.
The other news is the unit G-Drive Mini which uses smaller 2.5″
harddrives and offers storage capacities of up to 100GB.
Both the units has
support for FireWire 1394a/b (400/800) and USB2.0 for a fast connection to
the computer.
The thing that makes these external harddrives attractive in our
opinion is their design. The perforated aluminium cover is really nice and
nothing you would be ashamed of having on your desk.
