Lately Intel has been the one to draw out the ingenuity from partners, but with the FX processors coming and the new Socket AM3+ platform it looks like AMD has been able to do the same. Gigabyte has many models coming, including Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7 that has been pictured.
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7 will be one of the top models of Gigabyte’s new AMD lineup and with the fresh chip setup AMD 990FX note only brings official support for AMD ’Bulldozer’ FX series (Zambezi) but also armor and equipment to go around.
The motherboard is an enthusiast model with 10 phase power consumption (8+2), Gigabyte’s Ultra Durable 3 design and a night-black PCB with gold details. Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7 comes with 6 PCI Express x16 graphics card slots, which enables a whole variety of SLI and CrossFireX configurations. Four DDR3 slots is backed by six SATA 6.0 Gbps ports and four USB 3.0 ports.
