Gigabyte is one of the first to present a graphics card built on the GeForce GTX 465 design. Nvidia’s new Fermi model is expected to launch officially later today and Gigabyte is going straight for the custom model.

Gigabyte has chosen to move away from Nvidia’s references and supple the card with a its own cooler. It uses an in-house developed PCB with the now established Ultra Durable 3 technology with 2oz copper lanes for better heat transduction and stable running.

The cooler sports two 80mm fans and four big copper heatpipes. Otherwise the card abides to Nvidia’s specifications with 352 CUDA cores clocked at 1,215 MHz,  GPU clocked at 607 MHz and 1GB GDDR5 memory operating at 3,206 MHz. Like other cards of the  GeForce GTX 400 series the card has dual DVI outputs and a mini-HDMI output.
