Gigabyte is one of many manufacturers that will launch graphcis cards sporting NVIDIA’s new GF104 GPU. The cards will be named GeForce GTX 680, here confirmed by a model from Gigabyte caught on camera with a reference cooler and new stickers.

Gigabyte GV-N680D5-2GD-B is the name of the card that has been photographed at overclock.net and there is not much revealed except that Gigabyte is the brand of the card and that it uses the same cooler as the reference card. The only real design change is a good ol’ sticker on the cooler with some graphics and a Gigabyte logo.

The card sports two stacked PCIe 6-pin connectors, which was also seen on the reference card. We can also see that the card will carry 2048 MB GDDR5 graphics memory, and be covered by 3 year warranty. Exactly what Gigabyte’s card will cost in stores is unknown, but according to forum user Ironman86, who claims to own a computer store, the price will be on the level with Radeon HD 7970.
