Kingston is the unthreatened king of the DRAM market and over at Tech Report they got a tour of the company manufacturing plant in Hsinchu, Taiwan, where the focus is on RAM modules and flash memories.

Kingston doesn’t manufacture its own RAM circuits, but it sells the most memory modules worldwide. TR was allowed to come close and follow the production flow from when Kingston receives its memory circuits until they are mounted on the circuit board, tested in both desktops and notebooks before shipped out to stores.

Kingston tests on average 120,000 memory modules per day at the Hsinchu plant, which is really impressive.
