LG has officially announced the superthin E2290V. The LED-backlit Full HD monitor sports 1920×1080 pixel resolution and 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast, but it is the measurements that really stands out with a record thin profile of 7.2mm.
To make this possible LG has chosen to place all video connectors and extra electronics in the foot. The foot is thus somewhat larger than usual, but the panel is extremely thin and you get rid of the cables running down from back of the monitor.
LG E2290V has 2ms response time and 250 cd/m2 brightness and 21.5″ TN panel. The monitor has details in brushed aluminum which enchanxes the exclusive design. The outputs found on the foot are HDMI, DVI and D-Sub.
