Zalman has a new cooler called VF2000 LED on the way and unlike most other coolers, Zalman has no intention of placing the cooler in any specific niche. VF2000 LED will namely work with both processors and graphics cards. Through a nickel-coated copper based and four heatpipes, Zalman VF2000 will be capable of handling most graphics processors with the help of a 92mm fan. The cooler weighs 290g and can cool most processors, with a TDP lower than 110W.

This excludes Core i7 and some quad-core Core 2 and Phenom processors, but with its slim measurements VF2000 could be an interesting alternatives for slimmer and smaller systems, like HTPCs where processors often don’t have the same heat dissipation problems.

How Zalman VF2000 performs remains to be seen, but until then we will have to settle with a load of press images published by Matbe.
