Nintendo DS Lite has been a tremendous success for Nintendo which launched the new version two weeks ago; the first ”ipod-white” model. Back then the new video game console caused long queues and completely sold out in Japan. Now it has launched the two other color themes: one ice blue and enemal navy. The past weekend an electronics store in Osaka had received 2100 units, but just as the previous crystal white model the two new models sold out faster than anyone could really imagine. It took no less than 2 1/2 hour before all 2100 units had been sold even though the store opened at 06.45, three hours earlier than usual. The demand is surely there and now Nintendo just has to make more consoles. Source: Japan Times
