The power supply is suppose to, just as the rest of the components, make as little noise as possible. Unfortunately this isn’t easy to accomplish considering the amount of heat these components generate. We have seens several power supplys bragging about the complete absence of fans, which in turn makes them completely noiseless. At X-bit Labs they’ve taken a closer look at two power supplys that brags about just that, but at a closer look it turns aout only one if them actually are fanless.
