ForceWare Rel80-serien (Release 80) will, as we announced earlier, bring full support for Linux and at Phoronix they’ve dissected the new nVidia 1.0-8XXX series of drivers and takena cloesr look at what it will mean to Linux-users. This is certainly an interesting discussion as Linux is often a platform that gets to come in second. But nVidia seems to have understood that there is a lot to gain from supporting the Linux-platform and with 1.0-8XXX it looks like it is going out strong to do just that.
