Nvidia förbjuder att Geforce-drivrutiner används i datacenter

Nvidia har nyligen uppdaterat sitt användaravtal för sin Geforce-mjukvara med ett stycke som förbjuder att den används i datacenter.

Det verkar som att det faktum att datacenter ibland väljer att nyttja Nvidias Titan-kort istället för deras dyrare Quadro eller Tesla-modeller i serverlösningar har strukit tillverkaren mothårs.

Detta förbud lämnar då företag som Sakura Internet med två val. Antingen så får man se över sina produkter och istället börja använda sig av Nvidias Quadro eller Tesla-kort i sina datacenter och serverprodukter. Eller så får man leta efter lösningar från andra tillverkare som kan ta över Titan-kortens plats.
