OCZ continues its broadening with alternative memory products next to its memory module manufacturing by launching Secure Digital flash memory cards. SD memory cards are often used by digital cameras or other portable units and OCZ SD Flash will offer both storage capacity and performance. Three capacities are available; 512MB, 1GB and 2GB and all of these are comes at two different speeds: 133X for those looking for the best and 60X for the ”regular” users. 133X speed equal about 20MB/s, a very impressive speed for a flash memory card. There is no information regarding the price of OCZ’s new flash memory cards, but they seem to be very intersting alternatives for those who are looking for SD memory cards with an edge.
