Faithful NVIDIA partner Point of View has now presented its first overclocked model of GeForce GTX 580. The company tweaking team TGT has modified NVIDIA’s latest flagship and pushed the GF110 GPU to 841 MHz, while it has also tuned the memory frequencies.

We now for a fact that GeForce GTX 580 scales well with frequency, which makes factory overclocked models especially interesting for those who are not eager to overclock themselves. Or to be certain that the card will overclock well.

POV/TGT GeForce GTX 580 Ultra Charged comes with a GPU clock frequency of 841 MHz, which means that the CUDA cores operate at 1 682 MHz. The large GDDR5 memory buffer has also been pushed up and now reaches 4104 MHz. The reference model of GeForce GTX 580 work at 775/1550/4000 MHz and beside its Ultra Charge model Point of View has also presented a slightly less overclocked model called POV/TGT GeForce GTX 580 Charged that comes with clock frequencies at 810/1620/4050 MHz.
