Radeon X1000-series is ATI’s latest family of graphics cards, as you should know by now, and as it’s based on ATI’s new 90nm manufacturing process there are some major hopes on the cards’ overclocking capabilities. We have already taken a look on that in our Radeon X1000-family performance review but for those who can’t get enough of Radeon X1000-overclocking, TweakTown has published an article focussing on plain overclocking. They have pushed ATI’s flagship Radeon X1800XT and the mid-range X1600XT to their limits and ran several performance tests in hope of determining what kind of performance gain you get by overclocking ATI’s latest Radeon card.
